Welcome. Today we're going to do a guided meditation to support bringing balance into your body, mind and spirit, and it can be used either before you go to sleep or midday, or even as you get up in the morning. We're going to concentrate on chakra energy today, and whether or not you know anything about it makes no difference. Simply listen to my voice and follow the prompt. Chakra is the Sanskrit word for wheel, or wheel of light, vortex of energy, and sometimes they can become imbalanced, and today's meditation will help you feel more energized, positive, empowered and healthy. Find yourself a comfortable place to lie or sit, allowing your body to feel supported and still Just letting your feet and legs just to flop any direction they'd like, your arms gently resting, palm upwards by your sides. This time is for you to relax, balance and find calm. Allow yourself to receive all that you need. This is your time for you to connect and tune inward. So now I want you to take a deep breath in deeply and fully, allowing your chest to expand, then exhaling slowly, guiding your body into a calm and restful state, breathing in and holding your breath for the moment, pausing and then releasing and letting go Once more. Breathing in and holding the breath for a moment, pausing and then exhaling. Take a few more deep breaths like this and remind yourself that this is a time for you to find peace, relaxation and balance. With each breath you take, you feel more calm, more relaxed in your body, softening, and you feel supported. As I guide you through this meditation, just allow yourself to visualize each chakra as a beautiful, beautiful wheel of light. It might be like a gorgeous flower with many petals spinning. And if you struggle to visualize, just simply bring your awareness to each area. As I guide you through Bringing awareness back to your breath, feeling that gentle, rocking and soothing motion of the inhale and the exhale. This is your rhythm and your rhythm is perfectly normal for you.

Speaker 1:

I'd like you to draw your awareness now to the base of your spine. This is your root chakra. As you continue to draw awareness to this area, visualize the color red. Draw the color red in on your breath, taking it down to the base of your spine, to your root. Your root chakra is your chakra of survival, safety and stability. Breathing in and out the color red, visualizing that wheel of energy spinning and turning, allow the following affirmations to be soaked into your subconscious I am safe, i am grounded and I am supported. I have everything that I need. I feel deeply rooted and connected to myself and to my life, breathing in and out the color red, feeling that area strengthened, feeling balanced and connected. Take a few more moments here and when you're ready, we're going to gently move our awareness up to our sacral chakra. This is the area just above your pubic bone and below your belly button.

Speaker 1:

As you breathe in and out, visualize the color orange. Draw that beautiful orange energy down to that area. See that wheel of light and energy spinning and turning The chakra of passion, strength and creativity. Breathe in that orange and repeat in your mind I am passionate, i express myself creatively and have an abundance of ideas. Breathe in the orange. I value and express my emotions freely.

Speaker 1:

With every breath of orange, the light of your chakra glows brighter. Release the orange and now move your awareness to the color yellow. We are now going to move towards our solar plexus chakra. This is our place of personal power, willpower and sense of self. Breathe in that beautiful yellow light and see that yellow wheel spinning, repeating now in your mind. I am confident, i love myself, positivity radiates from me and to me. I am courageous and I am strong. Feel your confidence, build with every breath of yellow that you take, breathing that fire into your belly, feeling balanced, powerful and strong.

Speaker 1:

When you are ready, we are going to gently move our breath up now to the center of our chest, to our heart chakra. Here we are going to breathe in the color green, beautiful and healing. Or, if you prefer, you can breathe in pink, the color of unconditional love. Use these colors as you wish and breathe in the green or pink straight into your heart center, feeling that energy begin to swirl in the vortex That is your heart chakra, building and strengthening compassion and kindness for yourself and others, saying to yourself I am happy, i am joyful, i am loved, i attract positive and loving relationships And I openly and lovingly and wholeheartedly accept myself and others. Breathing in and out the pink and green, igniting that area with this glorious energy of the heart chakra. Take another breath here and when you are ready, we will shift our awareness up to our throat. Here we are going to breathe in beautiful blue energy and light, drawing the breath in through the throat. We can see the chakra and the wheel moving and spinning rhythmically, turning our throat.

Chakra This is the center of expression, communication and honesty. Breathing in the beautiful blue energy and light. Feel the area clear and strengthen with every breath that you take, repeating to yourself I express myself freely and authentically. I listen to others with compassion and empathy. I communicate truthfully and confidently. I am clear and impeccable with my word. Breathing in and as you exhale, release any blockage. Feel that blue energy build and circulate.

Speaker 1:

Shifting now up to our third eye chakra, which is situated between the eyebrows, we are going to breathe in indigo blue, that deep color of purple mixed with blue, deep and nourishing. Here we can connect ourselves to our intuition, clearing any cloudiness, strengthening our inner knowing. The third eye chakra is the chakra of insight, intuition and clarity. Going in and out, in to go, and repeating in your mind, i see solutions to every problem that I face. Those are not problems but opportunities to learn and grow. I am connected and I trust my inner knowing. My thinking is clear and my mind is balanced In and out.

Speaker 1:

Breathing in the deep, in to go, of the third eye chakra. Moving now to the crown of your head, your chakra of faith, inspiration and spirituality Here we are going to breathe in a pure white light, allowing it to cleanse, feel it filling your crown, spinning your flower of many petals, nourishing the crown. Allow you to find that connection and faith, knowing that you are not alone. Breathe in the beautiful white light and energy and exhale white light and energy Being in your mind. I feel a sense of wonder in every day. I trust in the divine order of my life. I possess unlimited potential.

Share your breath as you breathe in this divine energy and light and feel it cleansing your crown and nourishing you As you breathe.

Notice the beautiful rhythm of your breath And feel your body and breath connected, feeling balanced and aligned.

Speaker 1:

See your body and its wholeness in optimum health, feeling all the chakras moving and spinning, shining and swirling, all within you in this space of optimum health and vitality. Allow yourself the time to spend in each area, Starting with your crown. See your white crown chakra gently closing from an open petaled flower to a bud which is always available to you. And then your third eye closing, drawing the petals and light in Your throat, gently relaxing Your heart, gently spinning, calmly settling, supported Your solar plexus closing and retaining that beautiful yellow energy down to your sacral chakra. And then, lastly, your root, the nourishing and grounding and healing and energy work that you've just done has allowed you to be balanced and feel connected and healthy and strong. Breathe in deeply and see yourself surrounded in gold and energy, vibrant and warm, your calm centered and, in your energy, feeling completely alive. And, from this place, allow yourself to release into sleep, knowing that you're safe, healthy and supported. Or, if you're continuing on with your day, take your time to savor this feeling and gently bring yourself back into the room. Namaste.
