Good morning. Today's meditation is a beautiful way to start your day and set you up for positivity, joy and intention in your life. We're going to begin to bring our awareness to our breath and wherever you are whether you've chosen to sit or be still somewhere, or maybe you're walking with your headphones whatever feels right for you today. But I'd like you to set an intention for today, just one small intention, and then bring your awareness back to your breath. We're going to use our breath as a focus, as a way to not only release energy but to create energy within our body. So deeply inhaling and deeply exhaling helps us to inhale new energy and exhale the old energy. So, breathing in those first deep breaths of the day and filling yourself up with the new, fresh energy of possibility And exhaling, detoxing and releasing the old, any remnants of sleep, dust or dreams or yesterday's thoughts, just let them go. Start to move your breath now into a beautiful, balanced rhythm, breathing in for four, three, two, one and hold, and out for four, three, two and one. Let's do it again Breathing in for four, three, two, one and holding And exhaling for four, three, two and one. We're just beginning to create the sensation of balance for our body and mind. Our body and mind love to work together when they're given the opportunity, and we so often have one racing ahead of the other, and so this is an opportunity to get your team together, all working for you so you can best use your energy to create the day that you would like.
Speaker 1:As you continue to breathe in this way, i want you to begin to tap into a sensation of warmth and light, maybe even tilting your head up very slightly with your next inhale, as if you can feel the warmth of the sun on your face, that glorious yellow light and energy Breathing in and smiling, feeling your skin tingle and your cells awakening and your heart expanding. Think now of something that you are grateful for or that brings you joy. Could be something in this present moment, maybe a smell or a feeling or, if your eyes are open, something that you see, or it could just be something in your mind's eye, a place or something in nature. Whatever it is. Connect with that sensation of happiness and joy and feel where you feel it in your body. As you do this, you're drawing and attracting more happiness and joy towards you. Like a magnet, you are pulling it in towards your day and your life. Our propensity to give and to serve and to expend our energy outward is equally as powerful and can be turned towards us and pull in other energies, like that beautiful magnet that you are. It's called entrainment, the law of attraction. So breathe in that glorious energy, noticing how your body feels and how your mind feels, drawing in the positivity and light closer and closer to you with each inhale And, as you exhale, send that joy out to carve a path for you ahead.
Speaker 1:How do you wish to feel today? Calm or energetic, joyous, happy, empowered or confident? It's your choice. Take a moment and set an intention about how you want to feel today and see yourself feeling that way. Feel into that experience. It is within your reach and you get to decide how you wish your life to look.
Speaker 1:When we approach our life with intention, we are no longer stuck or helpless or living at the expense of something external. We are creating the day and the life that we deserve and that comes from the inside Again, feeling that yellow, warm glow washing over you from your head to your toes. Your whole body is radiating, vibrating with positive energy and light. Now Shining that light out, attracting more positivity and health and happiness to flow through you, allowing others to recognize that they too can experience this sensation of happiness, be enjoyed by sharing and by being close to you. With each breath, you attract loving and positive relationships and experiences within your day. Feel where you feel it in your body. Notice your mind and body connection, how they're growing more in sync with your breath, with your focus and with your intention.
Speaker 1:And when you're ready, repeat after me I am creating a day of positivity, intention and joy. I am creating a day of positivity, intention and joy. It is me that is creating a day of positivity, intention and joy, taking some final, deep, nourishing, awakening and energizing breaths. Remember that you are creating the life that you want to live. There is no need to lead a life that is heading towards a default future.
Speaker 1:By living with intention in every moment, we can create and recreate and co-create our lives. Feel your body getting stronger and more alert and aware of its power, its beautiful energy, with each breath that you take getting stronger and more radiant. Today, you will notice that people around you are noticing your energy. Remember this moment when that occurs and it will, my friend, take a few more deep breaths and I will smile with you, because I know that you are one step closer to creating the life that you want to lead. When you're ready, open your eyes if they're not open already, and embrace the day ahead. Savor every moment and remember that you created it.
