Speaker 1:

Hey there, today's meditation is an invitation to slow down, to just simply take a moment, to reconnect with your breath, to your heart center, to your values, to your heart center, to your values, to your why and to what's really important right now. And the only way that we can connect to these things sometimes is to slow down and take account, take inventory, take your time, give yourself grace. Sometimes, three deep breaths are all it takes to soften the tension of a stressful moment or an unwanted thought. Take a moment just to get comfortable, so you can focus just for a few minutes, just for a few moments, on your breath. Begin by taking a deep breath in and holding it for five seconds. As you exhale, feel yourself beginning to relax. Take another deep breath, as deeply as you now and hold it, and as you exhale, you simply blow out any stress, any thoughts, any unwanted energy that you've been holding on to saying to yourself relax now.

Speaker 1:

Take a moment to connect to your five senses, beginning your awareness around anything that you might smell, don't assign any meaning, and exhale, blowing out any excess thoughts, thoughts On your next inhale. I want you to draw your awareness around your ability to listen and I want you to focus this inward, to listen to any residual sounds, feelings of stress that are coming from within you and, on the exhale, simply let them go. Now we're going to draw your awareness around your sense of taste and I want you to conjure something that has delighted your taste buds. Start to feel yourself open to the idea that you might even salivate when you think about it. In any case, simply draw your awareness around something delicious and, on your next exhale, simply rest into the feeling that you get after you've eaten something delicious and it's satisfied your hunger.

Speaker 1:

Ah, on your next inhale, I want you to draw awareness around your sense of touch.

Speaker 1:

I want you to draw your awareness around any area that you can feel on your body that might like a gentle reminder to release and go ahead and put your hand, exhale, simply breathe away any of the stress or tension or pain in this area. Now, still staying with a sense of touch, I want you to feel your body supported by the surface on which you stand or lie and feel a sense of gratitude and trust. You might feel a tingling sensation that's coming from this deep breathing we've been doing in your blood, beginning to circulate and support your systems to operate efficiently. So, congratulations, you're re-energizing yourself. And finally, I want you to take a deep breath in and hold, and as you exhale, I want you to slowly open your eyes and maybe smile, maybe roll your shoulders or reach to the sky whatever feels right to you and then bring your palms together, maybe rub them and create some fire, play around with the energy between your two hands and then bring them together again in balance. This has been your reset. Well done, namaste.
