Lisa Hopkins:

But the reason I'm kind of calling you out a little bit the motivation piece. Why do you think it's hard to motivate yourself to schedule something? Do you want to schedule stuff? I can schedule stuff till the cows come home. It's just getting up and doing it, yeah. But do you want to schedule stuff? Of course you can. No, I mean not necessarily. Well, there it is.

Lisa Hopkins:

So why are you here talking to me about oh, I really want help with scheduling. You don't want to do it, and that's okay. Tell me what you want to do. Well, I came here mostly to be inspired. You're using scheduling as a smoke screen. What is it that you want? What do you want?

Lisa Hopkins:

You told me what was your biggest challenge. What do you actually want? If that challenge went away, how would your life be different? Your biggest challenge what do you actually want? If that challenge went away, how would your life be different? Um, I don't know. I'd get more done. Okay, if you get more done, what will change? Yeah, um, I I don't know. Okay, so I'm gonna leave you. I'm gonna leave you with that thought and take you off the hot seat.

Lisa Hopkins:

But do you guys see where we're going with this? How can you go for what you want if you don't know and this is not, believe me, this is everybody, not just you. We're all nodding our heads, okay, so we need to get really specific, personally. Specific, not specific so other people can understand it. Specific, but so you understand. It doesn't matter whether the people understand your why. What matters is that you do, and what happens is you know, we get, I'm not sure you know, or we hold ourselves back by worrying about all of that. And this is where space, giving yourself space, can be scary, Because you're kind of going okay, now this is the space I'm supposed to get fixed in, or whatever, I must be broken, or blah, blah, blah. Not at all.
