STOPTIME: Live in the Moment.
🌿 Letting Go with Love: A Meditation for Releasing Pain & Honoring Strength
Let us know what you enjoy about the show!
Pain shapes us all, whether we acknowledge it or not. This guided meditation offers a sacred space to gently explore the places where you've been holding onto hurt—physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
Through deliberate breathing and body awareness techniques, you're invited to locate the specific areas where tension resides within you. Rather than pushing these sensations away or trying to "fix" them, the meditation encourages a revolutionary act of witnessing: simply acknowledging what is present without judgment. "This is not about forcing anything away," the guide reminds us. "It's about making space for healing, space for softness, space for truth."
What sets this practice apart is its emphasis on honoring the strength that emerges from our most difficult experiences. We often focus exclusively on releasing pain without recognizing how it has shaped our resilience. This meditation bridges that gap, guiding you to recognize that "You are strong and resilient because you rose, you endured, and you became." By visualizing pain as fluid energy rather than a fixed part of your identity, you'll experience a profound shift from carrying your wounds to allowing them to flow through and ultimately transform you.
By the meditation's end, you'll reconnect with a fundamental truth that's easy to forget when we're suffering: "You are not your pain, you are your power, you are your presence, you are your peace." Take these twelve minutes as a gift to yourself—a gentle reminder that healing happens not by forcing change, but by creating space for it to unfold naturally. How might your day change if you carried this softness with you?

Hey there. You know we all hold pain, whether we recognize or realize it or not, and so I created this guided meditation for releasing pain and honoring your strength, to help you recognize the pain you've been holding on to and allow it to pass through and acknowledge the strength you've gained from it. So let's begin by finding a comfortable seat or lying down position, just allowing your hands to rest gently on your lap or by your side, and, when you're ready, softly close your eyes. We're going to begin by taking a deep breath in through your nose and exhaling through your mouth, through your mouth. Again, as you breathe in, feel the air entering your body and exhale, let it carry away any tension that you're holding. Allow your breath to settle into a natural rhythm, feeling it move in and out, in and out With each breath. Feel yourself arriving more fully in this present moment. Breathe in, knowing that you are perfectly safe, that there's nothing to do but breathe. Now I want you to draw awareness to your body and notice your feet, your jaw, your face, your hands, your arms, your muscles, your bones. Breathe into your body. Where are you holding tightness as you scan these areas? Allow yourself to really listen. Where does your body, whisper, or maybe shout that there is something that is still carrying. Take your time identifying this area gently, placing your attention there. Not to judge, not to fix, simply to acknowledge and notice. Let your breath flow into that space. Offer it kindness, offer it patience.
Speaker 1:As you continue to breathe, I invite you to bring to mind a pain that you've been holding on to. It may be recent or long ago. It may feel distant and dull, or more present and sharp. Just draw it to your awareness. You don't have to relive it, just acknowledge that it's there. You can give it a name if you wish, just noticing, holding space for it. And now say to yourself gently I see you, I've carried you and you've shaped me. Allow yourself to feel whatever is present. If emotions rise, let them rise. You're safe. If they pass through, let them pass through. This is not about forcing anything away. It's about making space Space for healing, space for softness, space for truth.
Speaker 1:Keep breathing, feel the spaciousness that you've created and now bring your awareness to the strength that has come from walking through that pain. You may not have asked for it, but still you rose, you endured, you endured, you became. You are strong and resilient because you rose you endured and you became. What have you learned? What muscles of the clarity do you now carry? Let that strength rise within you now like a warm light from your core, moving out in all directions. Recognize the strength that you have gained from your pain. Say silently to yourself I honor the strength I've gained. I trust the wisdom I carry. I am still becoming as you continue to breathe and expand.
Speaker 1:Picture the pain now as something fluid, energy that wants to move. You no longer need to hold it in place to keep it down. You've listened and you've learned. You no longer need to hold it. With each breath, allow it to flow through you like a river. Feel it as it exits the body through the breath, through the earth, through light. Feel your body lighten, feel your chest expand. Your heart is open. You smile and you breathe and you allow yourself to rest in this spaciousness. You are not your pain, you are your power, you are your presence, you are your peace Peace. Bring your awareness back to the room, back to your body, back to the present and, when you're ready, gently open your eyes, take a deep breath in as if you're breathing for the first time. Carry this softness with you, my friend.
