Hey there, this meditation is here to help you release the weight of the day, to let go of anxious thoughts and to ease into deep, restorative rest. You don't need to do anything right now, my friend. You don't need to do anything right now, but listen, let yourself be guided, allow yourself to be held, allow yourself to be held, trust that this is a safe space of calm, a place where you can trust that everything will be okay. You are safe, you are supported. Let's begin. Settle into a comfortable position, lying down on your back if it feels right. It doesn't really matter what position you're in, only that it feels right to you. So take a moment to discover what that is. Listen to your body. It knows what you need. Allow your body to be heavy, supported by the surface beneath you. Feel the gentle rise and fall of your breath, your beautiful ally, your breath. Just feel it rising and falling and marvel at the fact that you don't have to do anything, that you will breathe. There's no need to change it, just notice it. You're here and you're home and take a slow, deep breath in through your nose, holding for a moment at the top and exhaling softly through your mouth. Just let go. Let go of anything that's been clinging to you today. Let go of the pressure, let go of the noise. Abandon the overthinking. Just let it go.
Speaker 1:Sometimes, even when we're excited about something, we can't go to sleep. Allow that excitement just to go. You won't lose it. Just revel in the moment, in the now again, just breathing in calm and exhaling stress With each breath. Allow yourself to sink deeper into this moment, deeper into stillness, deeper into softness, heaviness, beautiful support, support.
Speaker 1:Draw your awareness now to the crown of your head. Imagine a gentle, warm light. Light beginning to pour down through you like liquid gold Soft, comforting, warm. Feel it as it begins to melt away tension from your temples. Feel your eyebrows soften and your eyes getting even heavier. Unclench your jaw. Allow your tongue to rest gently in your mouth.
Speaker 1:The beautiful golden light is now moving down to your neck and shoulders. Our neck and shoulders carry so much. Allow them to drop. Let the warmth dissolve anything tight, anything heavy. Release, release. Feel it flowing now into your arms, your elbows swirling around your wrists all the way to your fingertips, your palms between your fingers. Your arms are warm, relaxed and still, and as the light gently spreads across your chest, feel it open up the space around your beautiful heart. Is there any worry lingering there? Allow it just to melt away. You are safe, you are loved, everything will be okay. Allow yourself to feel this, to receive the message you are safe, you are loved, everything will be okay. There's no right way to feel, just let it go. No judgment.
Speaker 1:Now the light, this beautiful golden light, continues towards your belly, softening, releasing soothing, soothing. There's nothing you need to hold on to, nothing that needs to be kept inside. Allow your breath to flow easily. Take a deep breath here into your beautiful, spacious belly, filling up and exhaling stress. The golden light is moving now down toward your hips and your calves, your ankles, all the way down to your feet and your toes, your heels and the soles of your feet. Take a moment to acknowledge and feel grateful for your beautiful body and allow each part of your body to witness how it has been bathed in warmth golden, soothing, beautiful golden light. You are completely at ease.
Speaker 1:Now imagine yourself lying beneath a blanket of stars in the night sky. You're cozy and warm, maybe wrapped up in a cozy blanket, and the air is cool and crisp and the scent of the night blooms softly. In the distance you hear the gentle hum of crickets, maybe a slow breeze rustling through the nearby trees, caressing you as it passes by. The stars above you begin to shimmer one by one, as if winking just for you, and you smile as you realize that they're always there, even on cloudy nights, even when you can't see them. Just like peace, just like hope, trust that even when your path feels uncertain, a deeper knowing is always holding you. You are not alone. You are never alone. With your next breath in, draw in peace and serenity and on your exhale, let go of what you cannot. You've done enough for today. Now is the time to rest. Let go, let go, let go. Floating, drifting, drifting. You are safe, you are whole, everything is going to be okay. Sleep well.
